Your Special Day
Arrival
When the bridal party have arrived, they will make their way to the drinks reception room. Traditionally, the Best Man and Bridesmaids will join the bridal party to receive the rest of the guests.
While your guests are enjoying a cool drink, you may take this opportunity for photographs of the cake and banquet room.
The Wedding Breakfast
We have several dining rooms available for a wedding breakfast, whether you require a small intimate reception for close family and friends, or a larger room for up to 300 seated guests.
If you have a formal sit-down meal, there are many table layouts to choose from, which will be discussed at our final meeting. The Inn on the Lake colour scheme is blue and white tablecloths with matching napkins and candles. If you choose your own colour scheme we will provide, free of charge, napkins in your chosen colour, subject to availability. We will do everything we can to supply an exact match for you.
At the end of the meal, coffee and a toast wine of your choosing will be served. The speeches will then commence with the Best Man announcing the cutting of the cake.
The Evening Reception
We have various rooms available for your evening function, from the smaller reception catering for a maximum of 80 guests, to our larger Lakeside Room that can hold up to 300 guests.
Room hire charges are at very competitive rates and include an automatic extension until 12:45am with no extra charge. We can offer our own in-house DJ's for evening discos at a very reasonable rate although you are welcome to arrange your own music if you wish.
Little Extras
We have a beautiful white Rolls Royce Silver Spur with the regal number plate HRH 38, which is available at a special price for anyone holding their wedding reception at the Hotel. The hire price includes the trip from the Bride's house to the church, then the return journey with her new husband to the reception at Inn on the Lake. Other trip prices are available on request.
For guests travelling long distances we have very reasonably priced hotel accommodation.
