Or sit on the grass banks, watching the ducks forage amongst the reeds.
*The lakeside patio is exclusively used by weddings and unavailable on wedding days.
Lakeside Bar
Our Lakeside bar serves an excellent range of beers, wines, soft drinks, and spirits, including an extensive gin selection. Using local suppliers, our bar menu focuses on freshly prepared homecooked meals, catering for most diets including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.
Relax with a freshly brewed coffee, unwind with a book, or take advantage of the premium Sky Sports and BT Sports screens and enjoy everything our bar has to offer. Perfect for both guests and non-residents, for business meetings or social occasions.
Willow Bar
Step down into the Willow Bar, a calm and inviting room where the warm sun beams through the blue stained-glass windows and the soft blue walls flooded with antique paintings make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Catch up with friends over a freshly brewed coffee, celebrate a special occasion with afternoon tea, or have some ‘me time’ and read a book from the Willow Library.
Our bar menu is served daily in the Willow Bar, welcoming both guests and non-residents.
Willow Restaurant
Wake up feeling refreshed and walk down to the Willow Restaurant, where you can enjoy a freshly prepared hot breakfast. Our breakfast buffet has a selection of cereals, fruit salad, yoghurt, porridge, toast, and breakfast drinks. Our cooked breakfast is freshly prepared, catering for most diets including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.
Our Willow Restaurant is open for guests and non-residents**, daily:
- Tuesday – Friday – 6:30am – 9:30am*
- Monday & Saturday – 7:00am – 9:30am*
- Sunday – 8:00am – 11:00am*
*Times subject to change. Reduced hours may apply during bank holidays and the Christmas period.

Takeaway Breakfast
If work or onward travel gets you out of bed before the Willow Restaurant opens, we offer a choice of baguettes or sandwiches to take with you on your journey. Order at reception, by 9pm the night before.
Packed Lunches
Set off for the day with an Inn on the Lake packed lunch, including sandwiches, crisps, fruit, chocolate bar and water. Packed Lunches from £9.50.
Room Service
Sometimes you just do not want to leave the comfort of your room, so let us bring room service to your door*. Our full bar menu, including drinks and desserts, is available daily from 12pm until 9:45pm, Monday – Saturday, and 8:45pm on Sundays.
*Credit must be open on your room to order room service.

Private Dining
We have 5 event rooms of various styles and size for any occasion up to 350 guests. We can cater for many different types of event, from corporate events such as meetings or conferences to personal life milestones such as christenings, weddings, birthday parties or a general private dining event.
Should you be getting married, either at the Inn on the Lake, or further afield, why not book a private dining room for you pre or post wedding celebrations.
